To help improve climate change at home, you can participate in many things that can be useful and a set a good example for others to follow. For example, change 5 lights. Replace your conventional bulbs lights with bulbs that have the Energy Star and you will help the environment while saving money on energy bills. If every household in the U.S. took this one simple action we would prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to emissions from nearly 10 million cars. Another way to improve the climate in your home is using heat and cool smartly. for example, like cleaning air fliters regularly and having your heating and cooling equipment tuned annually by licensed contractor can save energy and increase comfort at home, and at the same time reduce greenhouse gas emissons. Another way is by reducing, resusing, and recycling. Recycling your newspapers, beverage containers, papers and other goods and improve the climate. Saving Water is very important and could save you alot of energy around the house. For example, turning off the water while shaving and brushing your teeth. Also, dont use your toilet as a waste basket, you waste water everytime you flush. Leaking toilets can waste up to 200 gallons of water per day. Be sure to repair your toilets and faucet leaks right away if there damage. In addition to improve your climate at home, you can also improve the neighborhood. For example, Driving. Instead of using gas guzzling cars, you should purchase a fuel-efficient car aka a "Hybrid" car. Also, instead of driving, go out for a nice run, walk, or jog, if you do you'll be saving tons of carbon dioxide a year. In the backyard, you can use a push mower unlike a electric or gas mower. A push mower reduce grass clippings quicker and faster.
Another way to improve the neighborhood is by eating and growing organic foods. Organic foods have chemical pesticides that are used to kill to kill pest, they also kill off microorganisms that keep carbon contained in then soil. In addition, its good to eat locally grown food. Also eat fruits and vegetables in season. That saves the enormous transportation cost. Plant your own vegetable garden, that way you could healthy for free everyday. Eating Fruits not only is healthy for you, but it helps the community and the climate and the animals that get killed for you to eat meat. Its better to live life healthy, because your living good for you and setting a good example for your community to grow and eat good everyday. By eating organic foods, your saving the the carbon dioxide and having it contained in the soil.
Another way to help out the climate change is being a minimalist. Every time you buy something, energy has gone into getting that product for you. So the less you buy, the more energy you save. Try to live on providing for yourself and not by buying everything to survive everyday in life. Plant smartly, recycle, reuse items, eat more organic foods, and stop buying non important things that you don't need to live on.
In Conclusion, if we live and eat healthy, we can save the climate change from getting worse and worse by the year. We should start now so we have less to worry about in the future. Then we wont have nobody to blame when the world starts to change drastically.
